About us

Why RAD Supportive Living Exists

RAD Supportive Housing exists to serve adults in transition — individuals who do not need a shelter, group home, or clinical care, but who also cannot succeed completely on their own yet.

Many individuals need time, structure, and stability to rebuild their lives. RAD was created to provide a supportive, respectful living environment where adults can stabilize, build routines, and move forward toward long-term independence without being over-restricted or underserved. “Our program offers supportive housing with optional premium services designed to promote independence, stability, and comfort.”

Who we serve

RAD Housing serves independent adults experiencing housing instability who may benefit from structured, supportive, or independent living environments. The program is designed for individuals seeking stability while working toward personal, educational, and employment goals, and who are able to live independently with supportive oversight and clear program expectations. Residents must be able to manage their own personal care.

Populations Served

Our program may serve, but is not limited to:

  • Adults receiving SSI or SSDI
  • Veterans and Retirees
  • Individuals exiting homelessness or housing insecurity
  • Single adults ages 40 and older
  • Adults who need a quiet, structured place to live
  • Adults with representative payees
  • Independent adults who can climb stairs and navigate shared living spaces.

RAD Supportive Living does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, personal care, or medication management.

Program Goals

RAD Housing is designed to provide structured, supportive, and outcomes-focused housing for independent adults. The program emphasizes stability, personal growth, and long-term success. Key program goals include:

  1. Program-Based Housing Model
Provide housing that is directly tied to program participation, with clear expectations, structured oversight, and individualized support to promote stability and independence.

  2. Clear Rules & Accountability
Establish transparent guidelines and expectations that encourage personal responsibility, consistent engagement, and measurable progress toward resident goals.

  3. Step-Up Housing Model
Offer a progressive housing structure that allows residents to gradually increase independence while receiving the support they need, preparing them for long-term self-sufficiency.

  4. Quiet, Low-Density Homes
Maintain safe, peaceful, and low-density housing environments that foster focus, stability, and a sense of community for residents.

  5. Supportive, Non-Clinical Environment
Provide a nurturing and structured living environment that prioritizes support, guidance, and empowerment without clinical treatment requirements, allowing residents to thrive independently.
